About the Owner

    Troy Grimes II opened his card shop on November 18, 2023 at just 17 years old. He has been around trading card collecting his entire life. He started collecting Pokemon cards when he was just 5 years old. He would go "treasure hunting" with his Dad and would keep his collection in excellent condition. As he got older, he learned that his Papa owned a card shop in his earlier days. He would sit with Papa and discuss trading cards and learned what it would take to open a hobby shop.  

     In 2022, Troy, his Dad, and his Papa decided that they would open a card shop together. But unfortunately in September of 2022, Troy lost his Papa. He did not let this discourage him and was determined to open the shop. The desire to keep the hobby of trading card collecting going strong, kept Troy on track to open his shop.

     The name Generations refers to the three generations that are involved in opening the shop. More importantly though, it represents the generations to come that will keep this hobby alive!
